Fashion Trends Spring/Summer 2010 challenging creativity

fashion_trends_2010-southern_folk-508

CIFF has asked the French trend agency NellyRodi for their ideas on what will characterise the fashion scene for Spring/Summer 2010 - and there is no doubt that the current financial situation will dictate a completely new framework.

CIFF (Copenhagen International Fashion Fair) in Bella Center is now ready for the August version of Copenhagen's fashion week from 6-9 August.
For a long time, the French trend agency NellyRodi has been working on the trends for spring/summer 2010, and they have now decided on four trends:

Light Tech

Ode to Nature

Southern Folk

Popular Appeal

"We have started with a clean slate and are now looking positively at the future, almost as though it is a new beginning. A neo-classic style will therefore characterise 2010, and we will see well-known designs in new styles," says trend manager Ulla Skjødt, Federation of Danish Clothing and Textile Industries, and adds:

"The financial situation is exerting a strong influence on the current picture and is contributing to creating a brand new framework - and this is challenging creativity. There is a strong desire to search for an explanation, to seek out the simple and perhaps find the truth. These trends reflect many idealistic thoughts about the future."

The four trends form the starting point for the popular CIFF TrendShow, which is shown once a day during the fair on the large stage in Hall A.

CIFF Trends 2009/2010: On a way to a better world!

Ahead of CIFF in February, the French trend agency NellyRodi is ready with the trends for Autumn/Winter 2009/2010. The new trend themes are based on a historical flashback on trends that defines our present situation - a world of crisis - to thereby creating a better world!

Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) is held for the 32nd time in February and the trends for Autumn/Winter 2009/2010 is already revealed buy the French trend agency NellyRodi. The trends represent four themes:

Dandy Manifesto

Gold Diggers

Bewitchment

Techno-Folk

Viva the crises!
- Lately, an avalanche of financial, political and social crisis has shaken us. We understand the global order as destabilized, the hasty urbanization continues, the global warming threatens our existence and famine is a world-wide issue. But we find ourselves in a depression that urge for reflection and analysis - not panic. The good news is that we are dealing with a transitional phase that will take us to a new and better world, says Trend Manager Ulla Skjødt from the Federation of Danish Textile and Clothing Industries, and continues:

- To move towards the new world, we will take a historical view at times and trends that have contributed to define our present standpoint. This makes it possible for us to understand and accept our present situation and act on the basis of it. We are moving into a new world that turns its back on the old and that creates opportunities.

Get an insight of the new trends at the great CIFF TRENDSHOW once a day from 5th to 8th of February 2009.

Fashion Trends Spring/Summer 2009
No borderline between retro, past and present

Before CIFF 31 in August, the trend agency Peclers Paris, once again unveils the trends for the spring/summer 2009. We can look forward to a positive summer, where the borderline between retro, past and present is erasing. It is our great pleasure to append the new trend material devised by Peclers Paris.

Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) 31 is held in August 2008 and the trend agency Peclers Paris once again predicts the trends for the spring/summer 2009. They have four trends: Tomorrowland, In Process, Powerfull og Electroshock.

- Change is the keyword when speaking of trends for next summer, and the opportunity to change, manipulate and improve everything is present. It is no longer taboo to accentuate one's looks as long as you do something about your personal style and stand by it! You have to 'be real' and in return it is allowed to exaggerate, says Trend Manager Ulla Skjødt from the Federation of Danish Textile and Clothing Industries, and continues:

- We are moving away from habits and standards to try new ways to be creative. The design process is very important at this moment. It contributes to create a new universe, where the borderlines between retro, past and present is erased. And absurd fantasy is used to counteract the trivial so it is hard to see, what is what.

Fashion Trends Autumn/Winter 2008-2009
Street culture's informal winter look

The trend agency Peclers Paris is now unveiling the trends for autumn and winter 2008/09 before CIFF 30. Judging by the four trends, urban dynamism, rhythm and energy will strongly influence the way in which we dress.

Preparations for the 30th Copenhagen International Fashion Fair in Bella Center are well under way, and the trend agency Peclers Paris has been working for some time on presenting the trends for autumn and winter 2008/09. And now is the time to unveil the four trends:

On the Move

Dark Fiction

Soft Tech

Kitch Mix

"For the past few seasons, the trends have largely revolved around urban life. More and more people live in towns and cities, where style and architecture not only influence our lifestyle but also the way in which we dress," says trend manager Ulla Skjødt from the Federation of Danish Textile & Clothing, and she continues:

"The way in which we dress reflects our self-perception - and as things are looking now, more and more people see themselves as urban creatures. The dynamics, rhythm and energy of the town or city have a considerable bearing on the trends for winter 2008/09. Daily life in the city is the basis for a style that mixes the luxurious, the formal and the gloomy with the informal look, bright colours and protective materials of the street culture.

When, on 7-10 February 2008, CIFF dazzles with its popular trend show, it will once again be with the Danish designer duo "Femmes Regionales" in charge of styling, stage and concept.
