International Colloquium "Culture and creativity as factors of Development"
At the initiative of the European Commission, a Colloquium on Culture and Creation, factors of development, is organised in Brussels on 2-3 April 2009.
 International Colloquium "Culture and creativity as factors of Development", organised by the European Commission in the framework of EU cooperation with African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries. The objective of this Colloquium is to highlight the importance of culture for the identity of people, peace and stability of societies and the economic development of ACP countries.
In parallel, cultural events open both to the colloquium participants and to the general public will provide the opportunity to discover or rediscover filmmakers, designers, musicians and artists from all around the world.
