Japan Debut of Leading Conference and Exhibition for the Global Digital Marketing Community to Open in Tokyo in September 2009
Tokyo, Japan – ad:tech expositions, the leading conference and exhibition producer for the global digital marketing community, has announced that Josh Bernoff—Senior Vice President – Idea Development of Forrester Research and co-author of the bestselling book "Groundswell: Winning in a World Transformed by Social Technologies"—will kick off the Keynote Speech series at ad:tech tokyo. The debut ad:tech event in Japan will be held on September 2 and 3, 2009, at the Prince Park Tower Tokyo.
Launched in 1997, ad:tech has expanded through the years in line with the growth of the digital marketing and related industries. Comprising a conference and exhibition, ad:tech provides media, marketing and technology professionals with the tools and techniques needed to succeed in a changing digital world.
The mission of ad:tech is to provide brand advertisers, agencies, portals, technology providers, and other digital platforms with a forum for the exchange of ideas, experiences, new practices, emerging models, and expert opinion. To this end, the event balances highly topical Keynote Speeches with panel discussions comprising experts in a variety of disciplines and hands-on workshops for digital marketers.

The announcement that Bernoff will speak at ad:tech Tokyo came on May 12 at the second meeting of the event's Advisory Board, a group of 35 digital marketing leaders representing some of Japan's and the world's best-known media, advertising and technology companies. Other early information on the ad:tech Tokyo program was also revealed at the meeting.
In addition to Bernoff's opening speech, five keynote speeches and panel presentations are scheduled in the mornings of the two-day event. The afternoon conference programs will focus on breakout sessions covering local and international integrated marketing case studies, media marketing, brand marketing, performance marketing, mobile marketing and agency development. Approximately 40 companies are expected to exhibit cutting-edge digital marketing products and services in the hall adjoining the conference rooms.
