Talented Hairstylists to be groomed at the Guangzhou Beauty Expo
 The Guangzhou International Beauty & Cosmetic Import-Export Expo (Guangzhou Beauty Expo) is a well-acknowledged theatre for stage events and educational opportunities devoted to the hair professional in China. Hairstylists from all across China will once again congregate at the coming 31st edition of the Guangzhou Beauty Expo in autumn 2009 to share techniques and discuss style trends, and this time, with a particular focus on the development of a New Generation of Chinese hairstylists.
• “2009 Linda’s Cup Guangdong” and the “TONI&GUY Northern China 2009
Guangdong Area Hair Competition for Junior” Award Presentation (24 September 2009)
Spearheading this effort at Guangzhou Beauty Expo will be the “2009 Linda’s Cup Guangdong” and the “TONI&GUY Northern China 2009 Guangdong Area Hair Competition for Junior” which will be held on the occasion of the fair. Organised by the Linda Beauty Group, Joyful Queen Hair Beauty Products Ltd and the Northern China artistic team of TONI&GUY, the competition with the slogan “Focus on Growth, Focus on Future”, seeks the participation of young hairstylists who dare to dream and innovate, and encourages them to move beyond their experiences and boundaries to cover new grounds and attain new heights.
• “label.m 2009 Charm” Hair Show (24 September 2009)
The Northern China artistic team for label.m, TONI&GUY’s professional brand, will reveal the charming and dynamic style trends of autumn through the “label.m 2009 Charm” Hair Show to be held alongside the award presentation. The International Artistic Director for TONI&GUY and Educational Consultatnt of label.m, Eamonn Boreham will take the lead with Frankie Chan, Artistic Director of TONI&GUY (Northern China), with team members Young An, Creative Director of TONI&GUY (Northern China) and Gary Wong, Image Ambassador of label.m, presenting a splendid visual treat for the audience in the form of the educational and creative show.
The “label.m 2009 Charm” Hair Show will reveal the cutting styles and techniques for medium length to long hair, using popular earth tone colours such as gold and brown, which work perfectly on dynamic curly hair. Models are in stylish apparel, as a whole provides a charming and sexy look of women.
• “BaByliss PRO Styling Star China Local Competition” (25 September 2009)
Organised by the world’s famous haircare brand BaByliss Pro by Conair Fair East Ltd, the “BaByliss PRO Styling Star China Local Competition” will be held on the hair stage in Hall 11.2 on 25 September. First time in China, the tournament is a section of the BaByliss Pro World Tour, talented hairstylists in China will compete to be the Styling Star. One of the UK’s most talented long hair and bridal hair specialists, Anne Veck will be the judge of the competition, who will also lead a team of HK top hairstylists to reveal the latest hairstyling techniques on stage.
• “Joyss Club 2009 The Cool Create” Hair Show (25 September 2009)
Dickio Team, led by the hairstylist star of the Joyss Club, Dickio Wong, will show off their classic hairstyling techniques, combining the East & West trends at the“Joyss Club 2009 The Cool Create” Hair Show at the Hall 11.2 hair show stage. The innovative cutting techniques and rigid lines are got to be put into vogue in 2009.
With great interest in Oriental culture, Dickio is good at putting the western and eastern elements together in hairstyling, which bring out a striking contrast to the audience. The show is going to rock the city.
Guangzhou Beauty Expo offers a comprehensive education programme for even the most experienced hairstylists. The education opportunities available to hairstylists at the 31st edition of the Guangzhou Beauty Expo will include the Label.m Ambassador Training (on 25-26 September) hosted by TONI&GUY (UK)’s International Artistic Director, who will impart knowledge on new innovations and developments in hair-care.
