Beautyworld 2009 with four days for optimum ordering conditions
• Hair and Beauty to be held parallel to Beautyworld in 2009
• NEW: Nature & Care, Wellness & Spa and Anti-Aging presentation at a Trend Forum
In 2009, Beautyworld - International Trade Fair for the Perfumery, Drug Store, Cosmetics and Hairdressing Trade - will be extended by a day and take place from Saturday to Tuesday. During this year's Beautyworld, both exhibitors and visitors voted in favour of holding the fair for four days. With two successive days on the weekend and two during the week, Messe Frankfurt has created the best ordering conditions for the wholesale and retail trades. Additionally, trade visitors will profit not only from Paperworld and Christmasworld, the two leading world fairs held parallel to Beautyworld at Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre, but also from Hair and Beauty, Germany's biggest hairdressing show, which will turn the trio into a quartet - and make Beautyworld and Hair and Beauty a great combination for everyone working in the beauty sector. "With Beautyworld 2009, we will offer a customised platform exactly in line with the needs of our exhibitors and visitors. And, besides the additional day, the changes made also include reinforcement for the existing product portfolio and the introduction of new product groups", says Eva Olbrich, Director of Beautyworld, explaining the event concept for 2009.
Particular attention will be paid to the subjects of Nature & Care, Wellness & Spa and Anti-Aging, which are to be presented within the framework of a high-grade Trend Forum in Hall 1.2. The Trend Forum will also house a lecture area and cosmetic cubicles, which exhibitors can use for treatments. Practice-oriented seminars and lectures by top speakers on subjects of topical interest will be given at the Beautyworld Competence Centre, also in Hall 1.2. In addition to the Trend Forum, Beautyworld 2009 will be distinguished by three new product segments. Thus, Cabin & Treatment will focus on cosmetic treatments and cubicle furnishings while Nails & Design covers the subject of fingernail design, modelling and nail care. Moreover, from 2009, Beautyworld visitors will also be able to purchase cosmetic products at Beautyworld Direct in a separate exhibition hall. As in 2008, Beautyworld will be located in Hall 1 of Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre, directly adjacent to the 'City' entrance. The 'Festhalle' and the 'Forum' have been included in the plans for the new product segments.
Hair and Beauty 2009: even more synergetic effects
Hair and Beauty will take place on Sunday, 1 February, and Monday, 2 February. On these two days, the trade fair for the hair-cosmetic industry and hairdressing trade will provide even greater value for Beautyworld visitors with numerous international exhibitors and brands together with a comprehensive programme of shows and workshops. Additionally, visitors will benefit from the overlaps of the two events in the fields of cosmetics, nails, accessories and direct sales.
Hair and Beauty will move to Hall 5, which is immediately next door to Hall 1, the 'Festhalle' and the 'Forum'. In 2007, it was located in Hall 3 of Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre. This means short walking dis-tances for all trade visitors from the beauty sector who, as in previous years, will also be able to take advantage of the interesting synergies generated by Paperworld and Christmasworld.
Paperworld is the leading international trade fair for paper, office supplies and stationery and begins together with Beautyworld on 31 January. Christmasworld offers seasonal and festive decorations of all kinds and opens its doors a day earlier, on Friday, 30 January 2009.
