New Fashion Trade Show
'Who's Next & Première Classe in Dubai'
WHO’S NEXT and PREMIERE CLASSE launch a trade show in Dubai, on 11th, 12th and 13th October 2009. A new event that will be the first professional fashion trade show in this part of the world, with exhibitors from specific designer universes: accessories / women’s fashion / men’s fashion.
THE PROJECT
Within the framework of WHO’S NEXT & PREMIERE CLASSE IN DUBAI, WSN DEVELOPPEMENT will use its expertise and experience as organizer for professional fashion trade shows to introduce brands to a growth market that is rich in business opportunities.
It has a triple objective: enable brands to locate to a new area, reinforce action for brands that are already present on the market and help brands increase their understanding of this market’s expectations.
Targeted regions are India, Indonesia, Russia, Eastern countries, Turkey, Asia and all of the Persian Gulf countries. Exponential economic development in these regions allows us to bet on the success of an international fashion event. In addition, since Dubai serves as an economic hub for all of these areas, it seemed logical for WSN DEVELOPPEMENT to set up there.
A NEW LOOK
AT DESIGN AND DISTRIBUTION
Although most of the event’s target countries have based their fashion education on luxury and top of the line ready-to-wear, today we see real enthusiasm for pure design and for state of mind fashion products. That is why distribution is ready to advance its offer and host a trade show like WHO’S NEXT & PREMIERE CLASSE IN DUBAI.
For the occasion, WSN DEVELOPPEMENT will export the concept for WHO’S NEXT and PREMIERE CLASSE, dividing exhibitors into specific designer universes: accessories / women’s fashion / men’s fashion.
Also, since buyer behavior and distribution network structure is very different on these markets, WSN DEVELOPPEMENT had to think the event in a different way to provide adapted solutions. For example, WHO’S NEXT & PREMIERE CLASSE IN DUBAI will offer a universe specially dedicated to "malls", shopping centers that make up the largest portion of distribution in these countries, where brands will present their boutique concepts and merchandising policies.
Finally, the trade show has the goal to favor encounters between brands, agents and other growth project carriers, such as franchisers.
VENUE
With an enviable location, 15 minutes away from the airport, the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre offers numerous facilities and services.
In addition to modern exhibition halls you will find two hotels (Ibis and Novotel), various food and beverage services and within walking distance the Dubai International Hotel Apartments.

HEAVY-WEIGHT
PARTNERS FROM ABROAD
In order to help brands and designers finance their participation in the event, WHO’S NEXT & PREMIERE CLASSE IN DUBAI will partner with some strong institutions, like UBIFRANCE and the MISSIONS ECONOMIQUES networks, as well as ABEST (Brazil) and UK FASHION EXPORT. These same organizations (and others in the future) will help WHO’S NEXT & PREMIERE CLASSE IN DUBAI advertise in order to attract visitors and buyers from targeted countries.
