Singapore International Art Fair 2009 (SIAF2009)
International Art Fair coming to Singapore this November
 Singapore, Sep 20, 2009 - Singapore is set to stage the Singapore International Art Fair 2009 (SIAF2009), an international art fair where art galleries around the world gather under one roof to showcase their artworks this coming November at the Singapore  Expo. Artists, art buyers, art supply manufacturers, art academies and related trades from more than eighteen countries have been invited to participate in this exciting international show. Top art galleries from the Asia-Pacific region and beyond will be displaying artworks ranging from paintings, drawings, sculptures and digital art, making SIAF2009 the most exciting art fair in Asia .
SIAF2009 is also the venue to acquire original works from emerging artists from Southeast Asia. It also serves as an important avenue for public appreciation of the diverse visual arts practice around the world.
For the first time ever in Asia, 35 Singapore top artists will gather together to display their works at the Singapore Artists Pavilion.
Paintings and sculptures from 10 established Korean galleries will also be exhibited at the Korean Pavilion. Besides the exhibition, Sotheby’s Institute of Art will be conducting talks by international experts on the business of art and art appreciation, during the four-day event.
