Fashion Designers Expo Florida Let's the Runway Meet the Cause |
The Spring 2010 Fashion Designers Expo Florida will benefit "Kids in Distress" to "Let the Runway Meet the Cause" on May 13th-14th. This Fashion Week, going on it's 4th year, has proven its position in the forefront among the best fashion weeks in Florida. There is non other like it. No where else can an emerging designer have an opportunity to produce their own fashion show in front of press/media and worthy guests.
Kids In Distress is a South Florida community-supported agency providing services for the prevention and treatment of child abuse. KID’s programs offer a continuum of care and essential services to child victims and children and families at risk for abuse and neglect. Their well-integrated system of care incorporates solid collaborations and partnerships with numerous community experts who work with them to meet the complex needs of the children and families they serve.
“Fashion Designers Expo Florida”, on its fourth year, is an exciting Fashion Week designed to show the world new superstars in the emerging Fashion Industry. From extravagant runway shows to lavish parties, FDE Florida attracts the attention of thousands of Fashionistas worldwide.
Taking place at only the most talked about “posh” venues in Florida, this event has grown into a huge phenomenon. Historically taking place in South Beach Miami, Downtown Miami, and Coral Gables, past venues include the world renowned Mansion South Beach, the prestigious Mayfair Hotel Cabana One Rooftop, Hyatt Regency Miami Convention Center with over 100,000 square feet of meeting space making it the largest event facility in Downtown Miami, and some of South Florida’s hidden jewels such as White Room, The Fifth, Voyage Miami, Sunset Place, and Dream Miami.

This event proudly supports and donates a portion of the proceeds to top charity organizations to “Let the Runway Meet the Cause.” In 2009 FDE Florida benefited Susan G.
