Phnom Penh, Cambodia – Cambodia Fashion Week (CFW) 2011 announces its next event in the run up to CFW 2011. On Sunday 21 August CFW 2011 will host an exclusive champagne brunch on the Kanika, the only luxury class Catamaran operating in Phnom Penh.
 Attendance at this exclusive invitation-only event is limited. A maximum of 80 hand-picked members of the fashion and business communities will be treated to live music, free flowing drinks, sumptuous food and splendid views of the Mekong Delta. The Kanika has five separate decks and is permanently moored at The Himawari, a five-star establishment perched in the idyllic setting of the Tonle Sap River, banks of the Chaktomok River.
CFW 2011 will run from October 27-November 5, 2011 hosted by the Cambodia Fashion Council (CFC) in partnership with Star Events. CFW 2011 will highlight global fashion trends, featuring international and national designers and introducing up and coming designers from Cambodia and across the region, providing designers with opportunities to network with buyers and potential investors. The ten day event incorporates invitation-only luxury runway shows, exclusive parties, a fashion exhibition and more, at selected venues across Phnom Penh.
 'There's an exciting line up of events scheduled and a buzz growing around CFW 2011. It's getting lots of attention from the business and fashion communities in Cambodia and beyond, as well as an increasing amount of interest from international media organisations wanting to cover the event,' says Teia Rogers, Producer CFW. Further events are rumoured to be announced by CFW 2011 soon, watch this space.
Cambodia Fashion Week has already drawn attention from the global fashion industry and will be covered by many notable fashion and news publications. CFW 2011 will also host an ASEAN delegation throughout the event and 10% of all proceeds will be donated to fund scholarships for Cambodian youth pursuing careers in the fashion industry. While the CFW 2011 is primarily about featuring Cambodia's growing fashion industry it is also an excellent networking opportunity, with innumerable events geared toward maximizing business to business connections.
