The Fashion Week makes a World Contribution
Bulgarian patent for protection of copyrights of fashion design
goes to the world fashion scene
The work of the fashion designers and stylists, who make models and collection, dictate the fashion trends and launch its own lines and fashion labels, now don’t have the reason to worry for eventually stealing of their ideas with illegal triages of fashion styling, they had done. If until now this part of protection of the copyrights of the intellect properties was under estimated by the opinion of many specialists, but by the new changes of the country starts institutional support, which will regulate it, as the music, films and photography.
The initiative of National Fashion Chamber of Bulgaria, which produce Bulgarian patent for complex presenting of fashion design with participation of 3 or more designers or fashion houses by making Fashion Weeks, fashion forums or group fashion events with every name, show with pride and opened face Bulgarian idea for protection of copyrights of fashion design. The most important of the elements in it is the protection of all collections since the moment they were presented on scene or in show room, presentations, photo sessions, draws, worker and technical characteristics of every model to every audio and video way of making, spreading, selling, media presenting and giving the licence rights to be used in parts, or at all fashion product that had been showed.
The Program of Bridal Fashion Week, which is realized in restored houses in Ancient Plovdiv not only with unrepeatable combination of the presenting of fashion design, culture and tourism, made the first public steps in this direction and regulate the impressive world perspective in this attitude. Same time with the evening defiles of designers and fashion houses, the accompanying undertakings full the application in our country to international standards for presenting of fashion and design, where Bulgarian contribution for fashion designer intellectual property was impressive.
The leaded on the oval table in to the Balabanova house as proved successful format for work institutional meeting, gather in the name of creativity of the fashion industry, representative of Ministry of confident works, presented of Regional Direction – Section «Economic Police» Plovdiv with The Manager board of National Fashion Chamber of Bulgaria and delegation of World Fashion Association, World Fashion Week and World Fashion Awards, leaded personally by the President Mr. Francisco De James as honorable guest.
In answer of European directives for protection of the copyrights of intellectual property and acting «Law for copyright and similar to him rights», «Law for labels and geographic marks», Criminal and civilian legal action codex were discussed the opportunities for next common doings of the subject: „Law and government protection of the rights in the fashion design for fashion collections – instrument, ways, sanction, performers and control”
Deciding of this case is having more and more increasing meaning not only for the development of Bulgaria like a leader in creative industry. Similar legal collective actions with giving the mark ways of opposition against crimes in intellectual area, in part of the fashion design and labels, would give sizable results and had influence for making the law authority of one of the newest members of European Community, Bulgaria.
More remarkable for Bulgarian idea is the fact that it is included in The Program of European Fashion Council for making United and Powerful Europe with partial voting in autumn sessions of European Parliament. That is the reason that European fashion industry, is presidential rotationally from Bulgaria, new are turning also Russian making knit collections and innovative fashion design, looking for world protection. The President of World Fashion Week Mr. De James also had huge interest for world application and development.
In this occasion of the name of the Bulgarian designer community the President of National Fashion Chamber of Bulgaria Nadya Valeva had sent special thanksgiving letters to The New Prime Minister of Republic of Bulgaria Gen. Lieutenant Boiko BORISOV and to Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs Mr. Tsvetan TSVETANOV for the given help in this extraordinary important cultural and economical portfolio not only for Bulgaria, but for Europe and all world.
